The next grade up is fiberglass, which we believe is the best choice for energy efficiency and durability. In terms of aesthetics, fiberglass can be painted or stained to look like wood, all of which combine to make fiberglass ¡°even more popular than it used to be.

Wood doors are on the high end of the price scale and are the most luxurious option. However they generally take more maintenance than the other doors, especially in this area. Because of the wet climate, wood doors require re-finishing usually every three to four years, with exception to doors having a southern exposure. Then, wood doors require re-finishing usually every year to keep them looking beautiful.
